Bishwakarma Khukuri Industries is a khukuri manufacturer based in Dharan, Eastern Nepal — home to some of the country's most respected Kami blacksmithing families. Each khukuri knife we make starts as raw high-carbon steel and is shaped entirely by hand: heated in a coal forge, hammered on the anvil, ground, tempered and fitted with a traditional handle and sheath.
We make the classic Gurkha khukuri, everyday kitchen and utility khukuri, and custom or ceremonial khukuri with engraving on request — for customers across Nepal and abroad who want an authentic, working khukuri knife rather than a mass-produced imitation.

How do I care for a khukuri knife?
Keep the blade lightly oiled to prevent rust, dry it fully after contact with water, store it in its sheath, and sharpen along the existing bevel with a whetstone.
